Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors is an animated television series that aired in syndication from 1985 to 1986. Jayce follows a clue to Audric and meets up with the gambler Vendetta who has a tape regarding his father, but Jayce has to win it in a game. It is a trap laid by Saw Boss. Jayce is bound to lose and Vendetta plays a game with Herc to settle an old debt of Herc's. Vendetta wins the Pride and takes off leaving them all to their fate at the hands of Saw Boss. Jayce gets to the Pride with his scooter and tells her the reason the Pride is hard to steer is because of a malfunction in the navigation system. Flora gets Audric's tape and Jayce manages to land the Pride and pick everyone up. The tape turns out to be a fake, so the search continues.

Audric has left a hidden lab containing experiments of a vine-stopper weapon on a deserted planet. The pride hitches a ride with a monster mind transport ship to follow them to the planet. Jayce discovers the lab but activates a self-destruct mechanism. They try to leave the planet but the Pride is surrounded by Monster Minds. Jayce stops the countdown when he realizes the root is the key. The vine-stopper weapon needs a special fuel which is unobtainable. After chasing the Monster Minds away, the Pride takes off, but Jayce returns to the lab to reactivate the self-destruct mechanism so that Saw Boss cannot reprogram his father's work and use it for evil.

The Lightning League stops on a planet to warn its two occupants of Monster Minds taking over the galaxy. Selena has the rare gift of song -- she can sing anything into being, or destroy it. She and her father come to this deserted planet to escape those who would use her gift for evil. Of course, Saw Boss is hot to have her and he snatches her father to blackmail her into singing the destruction of Jayce.

Gillian and Flora sense Vantu's presence again and Gillian also senses a great deal of power. Vantu has captured the magic of the world and put it in a pyramid. Gillian is getting weaker as Vantu has built a generator which drains all magic and power from everything else.

The Lightning League discovers the Liberty Stone on Paxtar and once again they go in search of it hoping that its power will lead them to Audric. Gillian alters their body structure so they can withstand the gravity pressure on Paxtar and they leave the Pride to help the creatures on Paxtar and to prevent Vantu from obtaining the Heart of Paxtar -- the energy source of this world and very potent magic. It is revealed that Vantu has the magic orb after all and he has created super vines.

Vantu's sorcery continues. Flora is still sick and very contagious. They head for the planet Andarin with it's powerful energy strong enough to save Flora. Unfortunately, they are heading right into a trap of Vantu's. They find the wizard, Warp, whose powerful orb contains the magic of the Universe and hope for Flora. But he refuses to help, believing everyone is out to rob him. Vantu battles Warp and Gillian exhausting their powers and Oon ends up with the orb. Flora is healed and finally Warp sees Jayce is there to help and not to steal, and together they fend off Monster Minds and the orb is returned to Warp.

The Lightning League stumbles upon a parasitic colony of creatures living on Monster Minds vines. Gillian discovers the vines are concealing the Liberty Stone. They go in search of it and discover Vantu lives. He causes moss to grow which is deadly to Flora. One of the parasite creatures find the stone, but the stone is controlled by Vantu and the closer they get to it the sicker Flora gets. The Lightning League cuts and seals off the vines so the creatures living there cannot be threatened by Saw Boss, and the Liberty Stone falls into oblivion and Flora feels better.

The powerful liberty stone protects Aloar from all invaders by creating the spidereen whirlpool. Gillian brings the league to this planet to see his old magician friend Axilar and to use the stone to seek Audric's whereabouts. Upon arriving they discover it has been stolen by another powerful magician, Vantu. He offers Saw Boss Jayce if Saw Boss will let him keep the stone and uses it as he wishes with no interference. Gillian falls for Vantu's trap and is turned to stone.
