Les Mis is the second episode of the third season of Key & Peele. In this episode, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele take on the story of Les Misérables and put their unique spin on it. The episode features a series of sketches that parody various aspects of the musical and the movie adaptation.

The episode begins with a sketch titled "Javert's Suicide" in which Javert, played by Peele, sings a song about his inner turmoil before ultimately deciding to jump off a bridge. However, as he plummets towards the water, he encounters another character from the musical who has also jumped off the bridge and landed on a pile of garbage. Javert, realizing that he may survive his fall, quickly changes his mind and tries to grab onto the garbage as well. The sketch ends with both characters struggling to stay afloat in the garbage-filled water.

Another sketch in the episode is titled "The Les Mis Dolls", which is a parody of the popular doll line American Girl Dolls. In this sketch, Key and Peele play characters named Cosette and Eponine who are part of the Les Mis Dolls line. However, unlike the American Girl Dolls, these dolls are incredibly depressing and come with accessories such as an empty bread basket and a cardboard box for sleeping in. The sketch also features a parody of the American Girl Dolls' "Meet the Author" events, where girls can meet the author of their favorite books. In this version, however, the author is Victor Hugo, who is depressed and drunk, and tells the young girls about his terrible life.

The episode also includes a sketch titled "Les Misérables Auditions" which showcases various characters auditioning for roles in the musical. These characters include a rapper trying out for the role of Jean Valjean, a woman auditioning for the role of Marius with a terrible French accent, and a mime auditioning for the role of Eponine. The sketch ends with a parody of the famous song "One Day More", in which all the characters perform their own terrible versions of the song.

Another sketch titled "Les Misérables Restaurant" features a restaurant where all the menu items are named after characters and songs from Les Misérables. However, the waiters and waitresses are all terrible singers, and when they break out into song, the diners are forced to join in. The sketch also features a parody of the song "Do You Hear the People Sing?" in which the lyrics are changed to reflect the terrible service at the restaurant.

Overall, Les Mis is a hilarious episode of Key & Peele that is sure to delight fans of the musical and newcomers alike. The sketches are clever and well-written, with plenty of laughs to be had throughout the entire episode. Whether you're a fan of Les Misérables or not, this episode is definitely worth a watch.
