In "Kickin' It" season 1 episode 2 titled "Fat Chance," viewers are introduced to the Wasabi Warrior's dojo as they prepare to participate in a local karate tournament. The episode revolves around the challenges the team faces in training and their individual quirks that make them stand out.

The opening scene sets the stage for the episode with the team gathering around Sensei Rudy, the leader and founder of the dojo, as he announces that they are entering the " Tournament of Champions." Rudy, played by Jason Earles, is a quirky, eccentric, and lovable character who has a deep passion for martial arts and has dedicated his life to teaching the next generation of martial artists. The team comprises of Jack, Milton, Eddie, Jerry, and Kim, each bringing a unique set of skills and personalities to the table.

The episode focuses on Jack, played by Leo Howard, who's athletic and determined personality shines as he undertakes the daunting mission of losing weight. Jack is considered the fat kid of the group, and he is determined to lose weight and prove to everyone that he is not a liability during the tournament. This journey to losing weight brings in a lot of character development, and the episode does an amazing job of showing the vulnerability of a child's mind when it comes to body image. At the same time, it's inspiring to see the determination with which he goes about achieving his goals.

Meanwhile, Eddie, played by Alex Christian Jones, comes up with his signature move, "The Eddie Gooch," which he believes will take the team to victory. Eddie is a confident and outgoing character who is not afraid to speak his mind, and his optimism and unwavering confidence in his team rubs off on the other members as well.

Jerry, played by Mateo Arias, brings his unique comedic timing and comedy skills to the table. His character is known for his slapstick humor and mischievous personality, which adds a much-needed levity to the show.

Milton, played by Dylan Riley Snyder, brings his knowledge of karate and his shy personality to the dojo. Milton is socially awkward and struggles with expressing himself, but his love for karate and his loyalty towards the team make him an integral part of the Wasabi Warrior's.

Finally, Kim, played by Olivia Holt, adds the much-needed feminine touch to the group. Kim is a strong and confident character who's not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for herself. She adds depth to the group and brings her own unique set of skills to the table.

As the episode progresses, we see the team face a variety of challenges, ranging from issues like lack of stamina, weight, and coordination. They undergo rigorous training sessions and put in grueling hours of practice. However, as they invest time in overcoming these challenges, the bond between the team members strengthens. The episode maintains an upbeat and positive tone throughout, making it a fun and entertaining watch for kids and adults alike.

Overall, "Kickin' It" season 1 episode 2 titled "Fat Chance" does an excellent job of introducing the characters to the audience and sets the stage for the future episodes to follow. It's a light-hearted show that is perfect for family viewing and teaches kids the importance of hard work, dedication, and believing in oneself.
