Ep 7. The Dad Hat

When Vanessa decides to make a hat for Mike, he immediately becomes attached to it, refusing to take it off even during the most inappropriate of occasions. As he begins to wear the hat everywhere, his family members begin to feel neglected and excluded. Meanwhile, Eve, who has been experiencing some lasting trauma from her time at basic training, decides to volunteer for community service in hopes of finding some solace and peace. However, she soon realizes that the community service is a lot less glamorous than she anticipated. Meanwhile, Kyle helps his boss sell merchandise at a promotional event, but his enthusiasm quickly turns into exhaustion as he struggles to keep up with the increasingly demanding crowd. As tension begins to build between the family members, they must find a way to communicate and balance their own needs with the needs of those they love. In the end, they must learn to embrace each other's differences and support each other in their individual pursuits.
