Frank Tagliano, the protagonist of the show Lilyhammer, is a former New York mobster who has been living in Lillehammer, Norway under the witness protection program. In Guantanamo Blues, the third episode of the first season, Frank is struggling with his new life in Norway.

At the start of the episode, Frank is shown attending a group therapy session for people with anger management issues. He initially scoffs at the idea but ultimately decides to participate after he becomes annoyed by a fellow group member who keeps interrupting him. The session ends up being a cathartic experience for Frank, and he shares his own story of trauma and loss which led him to becoming a mobster in the first place.

Meanwhile, Frank is also dealing with his own business problems. He has invested in a local nightclub, but the club isn't doing well and is struggling to attract customers. To make matters worse, one of his club employees, a Syrian man named Tariq, is being unfairly targeted by the police because of his ethnicity and is facing deportation. Frank takes it upon himself to help Tariq, but his efforts are complicated by the fact that Tariq is connected to a group of Muslim extremists who are plotting a terrorist attack.

As Frank navigates his business and personal problems, he is also dealing with another enemy: his own temper. He struggles to control his anger and his impulses, and his violent tendencies threaten to ruin everything he has built in Norway.

The episode culminates in a tense confrontation between Frank and the police, as they close in on Tariq and his associates. Frank is faced with a difficult decision, and must choose between protecting his employee and staying out of trouble with the law.

Throughout the episode, there are also subplots involving Frank's relationships with the people in his life. He bonds with a fellow gangster from his past, who is also living in Lillehammer under a new identity. He also continues his flirtation with the local teacher Sigrid, despite their cultural and language barriers.

Guantanamo Blues is a compelling episode that highlights the complexities of Frank's new life in Norway. The show is known for its mix of dark humor, crime drama, and fish-out-of-water elements, and this episode is no exception. As Frank struggles to find his place in a new country, he is forced to confront his own demons and make difficult choices that will have far-reaching consequences.
