It is clear that Tip is caught in a difficult situation, and it is not yet clear what the final outcome will be.

Alongside the main plotlines, there are several other minor storylines that add depth and complexity to the show. For example, the Dorrit family is visited by a man named Mr. Sparkler, who is interested in marrying Amy's sister Fanny. While Fanny is initially charmed by Mr. Sparkler's wealth and social status, she begins to have doubts about him when he reveals himself to be rather dim-witted. Additionally, the villainous Merdle continues to manipulate those around him in his quest for power and money.
