Ep 13. Bad Medicine

In the season 2 finale of Longmire, entitled "Bad Medicine," Sheriff Walt Longmire and his team are faced with another complex case as they race against time to solve a murder. The episode opens with a local man named Waylon threatening a patient at a mental institution, blaming him for Andy's death.

Soon after Longmire and his team arrive on the scene, they discover that the patient, Vicky, has been murdered. As they investigate the crime scene, they come across a prescription bottle with Waylon's name on it, leading them to believe that he was involved in the crime.

Meanwhile, Longmire continues to struggle with his personal life as he tries to deal with the aftermath of his wife's death. His relationship with his daughter Cady becomes strained after he finds out that she is involved with her late mother's divorce lawyer, making him feel betrayed.

As Longmire delves deeper into Vicky's murder, he begins to uncover a web of deceit and corruption in the health care industry. With the help of his deputies, he discovers that some of the most respected doctors in the area are prescribing dangerous drugs to their patients, causing deadly addiction and overdoses.

As Longmire pieces together the clues, he becomes a target of those involved in the illegal drug trade. He finds himself in danger as he tries to bring the culprits to justice, putting his life on the line.

In the end, Longmire is able to solve the case and bring the perpetrators to justice, but not without significant personal losses. The season finale sets the tone for what promises to be an intense and dark third season of Longmire.
