Ep 1. Now I am a Witchling

In the first episode of Magical DoReMi season 1, titled "Now I am a Witchling," we are introduced to the main character, a playful and curious girl named Doremi Harukaze. The exam requires Doremi to draw a magic circle and cast a spell, which she does with surprising ease. Doremi is shocked when Majorika tells her that she has passed the exam and is now a witchling!

For Doremi, being a witchling means having the power to perform magic and fulfill her dreams. She can cast spells that make things float or shrink, create fire with a snap of her fingers, and transport herself to different locations. But being a witchling also means dealing with the consequences of her magic, as Doremi quickly discovers.

In the first day of her new life as a witchling, Doremi casts a spell that causes her to shrink to the size of a doll. She is terrified as she tries to find a way to reverse the spell before her family and friends notice her absence. Along the way, Doremi meets two other girls who are also witch apprentices: Hazuki Fujiwara, who is timid and kind-hearted, and Aiko Senoo, who is confident and outgoing.

As the three girls bond over their shared love of magic, they also face challenges in their new lives as witches. Majorika, the head witch and owner of the Maho-do, is demanding and strict, and often treats the girls harshly when they make mistakes. Doremi's other classmates, who do not know about her new powers, think she is strange and avoid her.

Despite these obstacles, Doremi is determined to be the best witchling she can be. She practices her spells and learns more about the world of magic, while also dealing with the everyday struggles of being a fourth-grader. From facing bullies to dealing with an annoying little brother, Doremi tries her best to balance her two lives.
