Ep 9. Long Island

In this episode of Man v. Food, host Adam Richman travels to Long Island, New York, to take on some of the area's biggest and most challenging food challenges.

First up, Adam visits Chris & Tony's, a local Italian restaurant known for their massive 14-inch meatball sub. Stuffed with homemade meatballs, sauce, and cheese, this sub is a formidable opponent for Adam's appetite. Can he take down the whole thing in one sitting?

Next, Adam heads to Zorn's, a legendary Long Island deli famous for its fried chicken. But this isn't just any fried chicken - it's Zorn's famous "sloppy chicken" sandwich, featuring a heaping pile of chicken smothered in gravy. Adam braces himself for a messy fight as he takes on this Southern-style classic.

After that, Adam makes his way to Oyster Bay, Long Island, for a visit to Canterbury's Oyster Bar & Grill. Here, he faces the "Death by Burger" challenge - a towering stack of four beef patties, four slices of cheese, and a heap of bacon, all served on a giant bun. Can Adam conquer this burger behemoth?

Finally, Adam concludes his Long Island tour with a trip to Friendly's, a classic American ice cream chain. But he's not there for just any sundae - he's taking on the "Wattamelon Roll," a frozen dessert featuring watermelon sherbet, chocolate chips, and a whole bunch of whipped cream.
