Al Bundy is on a mission to find the perfect gift for Peggy's birthday. With the help of his neighbor, Marcy, Al sets out to find the perfect present, but quickly realizes that shopping for women is not his forte. Meanwhile, Peggy is convinced that Al has forgotten her birthday and spends the day moping around the house. When Al finally returns with a surprise for Peggy, she is less than impressed by his choice of gift. In an effort to make things right, Al and Marcy set out on another shopping mission, determined to find something that Peggy will love. Along the way, Al is forced to confront his own prejudices and biases about women and learns a valuable lesson about love and appreciation. As the day wears on, tensions rise and tempers flare, but in the end, Al manages to redeem himself and win back Peggy's love and affection.
