Ep 6. Kelly Bounces Back

Kelly Bundy, the ditzy daughter of Bundy family, has been fired from her first job, working at a hotdog stand. She attempts to find a new job but after facing numerous rejections, she is devastated and begins to believe that she is worthless and a failure.

Meanwhile, Al Bundy, the patriarch of the family, has his own problems. His beloved Dodge is in need of repair but he refuses to spend any money on fixing it. He plans to fix it himself but soon realizes that he is not capable of doing so. He turns to his neighbor and friend Steve for help, but Steve has his own issues to deal with; his wife Marcy has left him and he is heartbroken.

As Kelly continues to struggle with finding a job, her family tries to lift her spirits. Peggy, her mother, convinces her to audition for the local Miss Weenie Tot pageant, a title Kelly had previously won when she was a child. Kelly is reluctant at first, but Peggy and Al persuade her to give it a shot.

While Kelly prepares for the pageant, the rest of the Bundy family attends a car show where Al hopes to find the right parts to fix his car. However, they soon realize that they are not car enthusiasts and decide to leave. As they exit the show, Al spots a tow truck towing his car away. The family chases after the truck on foot but lose sight of it.

The same day, Kelly competes in the pageant and, to everyone's surprise, she wins. She is thrilled to have won something and finally feels a sense of accomplishment. However, her happiness is short-lived as she discovers that her family's car has been stolen. She breaks down in tears, believing that she is responsible for the theft.

The family tries to comfort Kelly but she's inconsolable. Peggy decides to take matters into her own hands by walking the streets in search of the thief. She finally spots the thief and chases him down, with the help of a group of people who had witnessed the theft. The thief finally confesses, and Peggy retrieves the car.

In the end, the Bundy family celebrates Kelly's victory in the pageant and the return of their stolen car. Al apologizes to Kelly for neglecting her while he was preoccupied with his own problems. Kelly forgives him and the family ends the day on a high note.
