Marsupilami is a classic animated television series that first aired on CBS in 1993. The show is based on a popular comic book character created by Belgian cartoonist André Franquin. The titular character, Marsupilami, is a yellow-spotted, long-tailed marsupial who possesses incredible strength and agility. He lives in the Palombian jungle with his wife and three children, and his adventures often involve protecting his family and thwarting the plans of a local poacher named Norman.

The show is primarily aimed at a children's audience, and its bright colors and whimsical characters reflect this. The animation is fluid and expressive, with exaggerated movements and facial expressions that convey a sense of fun and energy. The character designs are simple but distinctive, with Marsupilami's long tail and pointed ears making him instantly recognizable.

Marsupilami is an engaging protagonist, with a strong sense of justice and a mischievous streak that often lands him in trouble. He is fiercely protective of his family and his jungle home, and is always ready to stand up to anyone who threatens them. However, he can also be naive and impulsive, often rushing headlong into danger without fully thinking things through. This makes him a relatable character for younger viewers, who can identify with his sense of adventure and curiosity.

The show's supporting cast is similarly colorful, with a variety of animal characters that populate the Palombian jungle. These include a blue gorilla named Maurice, a paranoid toucan named Eduardo, and a trio of monkeys named Bobo, Fosset, and Stu. Each character has their own distinct personality and quirks, which add to the show's overall charm.

The overarching plot of the show involves Norman's schemes to capture and exploit Marsupilami for his own gain. Norman is a classic villain, with a sneering demeanor and a ruthless determination to catch his prey. However, he is also a bumbling fool, constantly foiled by Marsupilami's quick thinking and resourcefulness. This creates a sense of tension and excitement as the two characters engage in a series of escalating battles throughout the show's run.

In addition to its action-packed plot, Marsupilami also incorporates elements of comedy and humor. Many of the show's jokes revolve around Marsupilami's antics and misunderstandings, as well as the ineptitude of Norman and his henchmen. These moments of levity help to balance out the show's more serious themes, and make it a fun and enjoyable watch for viewers of all ages.

Overall, Marsupilami is a classic animated series that has stood the test of time. Its colorful characters, engaging plot, and sense of humor make it a beloved favorite of many viewers, and its influence can be seen in countless other shows and movies that have followed in its footsteps. Whether you're a fan of classic cartoons or are looking for a fun, family-friendly show to enjoy with your kids, Marsupilami is definitely worth checking out.

But nothing doing: that diabolical ocean of jungle greenery persists, taunting the Devort empire! It's inexplicable... Wait, inexplicable? Hector thinks it's more likely the predator is a unique creature, and he invites Bennett Farica and John Quaterwinner to study it. For Stroy and Blueprint, this is the perfect occasion to redeem themselves in their boss' eyes. Having previously destroyed 2 1/2 tons of fish that belonged to her, they figure they can simply replace it with this one 2 1/2 ton fish. Even Backalive joins the hunt for the sea monster, which turns out to be a giant piranha, a genetic freak created by Felicia Devort's toxic waste. The monstrous fish ends up swallowing our heroes! Luckily, Aunt Diane figures out the fish is a music lover, and she tames it. Meanwhile, from the belly of the fish, Marsu liberates our friends.
