Ep 5. Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble

Allison is back at work and she, Joe and their children are getting back into their routine. However, Allison is having nightmares about her boss, Manuel Devalos, being kidnapped. She tries to tell him about it but he brushes it off as stress. Meanwhile, Ariel's friend from school, Daniela, is having some trouble and asks for Ariel's help. Daniela has been acting up and caused an incident in her class. She claims to have been possessed by some sort of spirit but her parents don't believe her.

When Daniela comes over to their house, she tells Allison that the spirit is a woman who is angry and wants revenge because she was betrayed by her husband. The woman's name is Sylvia and she wants to kill her husband before she moves on. Allison believes that Sylvia is actually a dead person who needs to be put to rest. She tries to explain this to Daniela but the girl gets scared and leaves.

Allison does some research and finds out that there was a woman named Sylvia who died in the 1950s. She was married to a man named Tony who was known to be a womanizer. Sylvia was jealous and insecure and eventually killed her husband and then herself. Allison realizes that Sylvia's spirit is now attached to Daniela and is trying to use her to exact revenge on Tony's reincarnation.

Allison tries to convince Daniela's parents to seek help from a medium to put Sylvia's spirit to rest. They are hesitant but eventually give in when they see how scared their daughter is. The medium, Sophia, confirms Allison's theory and performs a ritual to release Sylvia's spirit. The ritual is successful and Daniela is finally free from the possession.

Meanwhile, Manuel tells Allison about an upcoming trial that he is worried will not go in his favor. Allison has a dream that helps Manuel win the case and he is grateful for her help.

In the end, Allison confronts Joe about his recent behavior and they have a heart-to-heart talk. Joe admits that he is feeling lost and unsure about his career path. Allison reassures him that she is there for him and they will figure it out together. The episode ends with the family snuggled up on the couch watching a movie, happy and content.
