Ep 6. Second Chances

In the sixth episode of the first season of Melrose Place, entitled "Second Chances," tensions continue to rise amongst the apartment complex's residents.

Dr. Michael Mancini (played by Thomas Calabro) begins to feel the pressure of his failing marriage to his wife, Jane (Josie Bissett), and turns to his secretary, Kimberly (Marcia Cross), for emotional support. Meanwhile, Jane tries to reconnect with Michael by accompanying him on a business trip, but things don't go as planned.

Billy (Andrew Shue) struggles to find a job and ends up taking a position at Shooters, a local bar owned by Jake (Grant Show). Jake, still dealing with his feelings for his ex-girlfriend, ex-con Jo (Daphne Zuniga), tries to remain professional as Billy starts to clash with the other employees.

Amanda (Heather Locklear), the complex's tough-talking resident and advertising executive, receives a lucrative job offer and must make a decision on whether to leave Melrose Place.

As the tensions continue to rise and the characters navigate their complicated relationships, "Second Chances" sets the stage for further drama and intrigue in the episodes to come.
