Mile High was a British television show produced by British Sky Broadcasting from 2003 to 2005. The show was set in the fictional low-cost airline called Fresh!, based on the real-life airline easyJet. It follows the lives and dramas of the crew and passengers of the airline as they travel to various destinations across the world. The series is known for its mixture of comedy and drama, with a focus on the personal and professional relationships of the central characters.

The show features an ensemble cast that includes Nichola Theobald, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Jo-Anne Knowles, Naomi Ryan, and Adam Sinclair. Nichola Theobald plays the role of Janis Steele, a feisty and rebellious senior cabin crew member who often clashes with management and other colleagues. Julian Rhind-Tutt plays the role of Will O'Brien, the charming and womanising captain of Fresh!; Jo-Anne Knowles plays the role of Lehann Evans, a new stewardess trying to make a good impression; Naomi Ryan plays the role of Lorna Christie, a former stripper hoping to leave her past behind her and start a new life; and Adam Sinclair plays the role of Marco Bailey, a young and inexperienced first officer who is often eager to prove himself.

The show's first season premiered on April 16, 2003, with six episodes. The second season followed on March 10, 2004, also with six episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 45 minutes. The show was cancelled in 2005 after two seasons.

Mile High is known for its diverse storylines and characters. The show tackles issues such as workplace romances, office politics, sexual harassment, alcoholism, drug abuse, and dealing with difficult passengers. Each episode features a different set of passengers with their unique set of problems and dramas, ranging from holidaymakers to business executives, to football fans, and even celebrities.

The show is also notable for its depiction of the airline industry, with a focus on the inner workings and culture of low-cost carriers. It portrays the lifestyle of cabin crew members and pilots, their training, work schedule, and interactions with other crew members and passengers. The show also features realistic depictions of in-flight emergencies such as turbulence, medical emergencies, and technical problems.

Mile High has received mixed reviews from critics. Some praised the show for its refreshing take on the traditional soap opera format with its humorous and light-hearted tone, while others criticised it for its cliched and exaggerated characters and storylines.

Despite its mixed reviews, Mile High was well-received by audiences and developed a cult following during its run. It was known for its catchy theme song, "Love Is in the Air" by John Paul Young, which became popular among fans of the show.
