Ep 2. Before I Die

Miranda is a British sitcom starring comedian Miranda Hart in the lead role. The show follows the hilarious and quirky misadventures of a socially awkward woman named Miranda, who often finds herself in embarrassing situations. However, her instructor convinces her to take the leap, and Miranda jumps out of the plane, screaming in terror. The scene ends with Miranda safely landing on the ground, euphoric and exhilarated by the experience.

The next item on Miranda's bucket list is to try stand-up comedy. Miranda has always wanted to perform in front of a live audience but has never had the confidence to do so. Stevie accompanies Miranda to an open mic night, where Miranda plans to perform her routine. However, her nerves get the better of her, and she starts to doubt herself.

Things take a turn for the worse when Miranda's mother Penny (played by Patricia Hodge) also turns up at the open mic night. Penny has never supported Miranda's dream of being a comedian and has always criticized her for her lack of ambition. Penny belittles Miranda's talent and advises her to focus on finding a real job instead of wasting her time on comedy.

Miranda is heartbroken by her mother's comments, and her confidence takes a severe hit. However, she gathers up the courage to go on stage and performs her routine, which ends up being surprisingly funny. The audience applauds her, and Miranda is thrilled to have overcome her fear and achieved something she's always dreamed of.

In the final scene, Miranda reflects on her experience and realizes that stepping out of her comfort zone and challenging herself was the best thing she could have done. She acknowledges that fear has held her back in the past and resolves to keep pushing herself beyond her limits.
