Ep 4. Blurred Lines

Set in the heart of Los Angeles, Mistresses follows the lives of four women, each navigating their own complex webs of love, lust, and deception. In season 4, the ladies are forced to confront a whole new set of challenges as they struggle to find balance in their personal and professional lives.

In episode 4, entitled "Blurred Lines," we see Josslyn dealing with the fallout from her moment of weakness with her client, the wealthy real estate magnate Olivier Dubois. Despite the thrill of their forbidden encounter, Josslyn knows that she needs to keep things strictly professional if she wants to stay in his good graces. Meanwhile, Karen continues to struggle with her feelings for her former client and current friend, the handsome and charming Dr. Alec Adams. Despite her best efforts to keep things platonic, Karen can't help but be drawn to Alec's easy confidence and magnetic personality. But when the two of them are forced to spend time together at a gala fundraiser for the hospital, Karen finds herself grappling with unexpected emotions and desires. Will she give in to temptation, or will she put her friendship with Alec and her own professional ethics first?

Over in the world of fashion, April is grappling with a different kind of problem: her overbearing and demanding mother. Despite her successful career as a fashion designer and businesswoman, April still finds herself seeking her mother's approval at every turn. But when her mother comes to town to help plan April's upcoming wedding to the handsome and mysterious Marc, April realizes that she needs to stand up for herself and assert her independence. Will she be able to break free from her mother's suffocating grasp, or will she always be in her shadow?

Finally, we have Harry, who is dealing with a crisis of his own. After his restaurant is closed down by the health department, Harry is left without a job and struggling to keep his head above water. But when a former acquaintance unexpectedly offers him a job as a chef on a private yacht, Harry finds himself faced with a difficult decision. Should he take the job and leave his friends and loved ones behind, or should he stay and try to rebuild his life from the ground up?

As always, the ladies of Mistresses find themselves navigating treacherous waters, both in their personal lives and in the world around them.
