Ep 6. The More You Ignore Me

In Modern Family season 7 episode 6, titled The More You Ignore Me, tensions rise as the Dunphy family prepares for a visit from Phil's dad, Frank (played by Fred Willard). Phil is determined to impress his hard-to-please father, but things quickly begin to unravel when Frank starts criticizing everything from Phil's parenting skills to his job.

And in a third storyline, Jay and Gloria are at odds over how to handle their son Joe's misbehavior. Gloria is convinced that he's just acting out because he misses his dad, but Jay thinks that the problem is more serious than that.

As the episode unfolds, each of these plotlines take some unexpected turns, leading to some hilarious and heartwarming moments along the way. The More You Ignore Me is a standout episode of Modern Family's seventh season, showcasing the series' signature blend of humor and heart.
