In the first episode of the British sitcom "Mongrels", we are introduced to a group of misfit animals living in the back alley of a London pub. The show features four main characters: Nelson, a delusional and foul-mouthed fox; Destiny, a pampered and naive Afghan hound; Marion, a sarcastic and bitter cat; and Kali, a dim-witted and loyal pigeon.

Meanwhile, Marion has a run-in with a rival cat who accuses her of stealing his territory in the alley. The two engage in a hilarious and absurd battle, using everything from kitchen utensils to a chainsaw as weapons. In the end, Marion emerges victorious, cementing her position as the top cat in the alley.

The episode concludes with Destiny revealing that she has decided to stay in the alley with the group, much to their surprise and delight. As they settle in for the night, they reflect on their adventures and share a moment of camaraderie, proving that despite their differences, they are a family.

"Mongrels" is a raunchy and irreverent comedy that combines puppetry with live-action footage. The show takes a satirical look at modern society through the eyes of its animal characters, who are often more relatable and sympathetic than their human counterparts.
