Mortal Kombat: Legacy

The show known as Mortal Kombat Legacy is a web series that is an anthology of different characters. It is based on the video game of the same name. Mortal Kombat Legacy was shown on Machinima.com and Youtube beginning on April 11, 2011. This particular show was also based on the plotline made by Kevein Tancharoen and his film known as Mortal Kombat Rebirth. Tancharoen wanted to make a realistic depiction of the Mortal Kombat story but it was declined. As a result he was able to make Legacy instead and therefore make this a web series. The series portrays what took place before the events of the first Mortal Kombat game. As result fans of the game will get a better idea of how things developed to form the story of the original game.

As stated earlier this show is a web series and therefore one that is shown primarily online. However viewers can still access this show as long as they have an internet connection and have access to YouTube. On this show viewers will get to examine the backstory and origins of each character. They will also get to see how certain events on the show shape the premise of the original game's story. These characters include members of the Deacon City Police Departments Jackson Briggs and Sonya Blade and a career criminal known as Kano. There is also Johnny Cage who is both a martial arts master and a movie star. The story also includes ninjas Sub Zero and Scorpion. There is also the Thunder God known as Raiden and also sorcerers Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. In this show other characters include female assassins Kitana and Mileena as well as Baraka and Queen Sindel.
