Ep 17. No Rest for the Weary

In season 3 episode 17 of Mountain Men, titled "No Rest for the Weary," we follow Eustace Conway and his team as they continue to prepare for winter on Turtle Island. With only a few weeks left until the snow arrives, there is still much to be done to ensure that they have enough food, firewood, and other supplies to survive the harsh winter months.

Meanwhile, we also check in with Tom Oar in Montana, who is busy trying to sell his handmade knives to local merchants. Despite his success in crafting high-quality knives, Tom struggles to find buyers willing to pay the prices he needs to make a living.

Next, we visit Rich Lewis in Alaska, who is dealing with an unexpected problem - a pack of wolves that has been attacking his livestock. Rich must quickly come up with a plan to protect his animals before it's too late.

Finally, we catch up with Marty Meierotto in the Yukon, who is struggling to find enough furs to make ends meet. With fewer animals around this year, Marty must travel farther and take greater risks to locate the furs he needs to support his family.

Throughout the episode, we witness the challenges and rewards of living off the land in some of the most remote and unforgiving environments in North America. From the intense labor required to prepare for winter to the constant threat of wild animals, the mountain men prove time and again that they are willing to do whatever it takes to survive in the wilderness.
