Ep 4. Kitty Jail

In My Cat From Hell season 3 episode 4, named Kitty Jail, cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy helps two different families struggling with their cats' behavioral issues.

The first family consists of a couple who have recently moved in together along with their cats. One of their cats, a Siamese named Kitty, has been acting out since the move and has been aggressive towards her owner's boyfriend. After observing Lita's behavior, Jackson determines that there are several underlying issues contributing to her behavior, including a lack of litter boxes and a history of anxiety. He suggests implementing a litter box for each cat in the house and creating a safe, calm space for Lita to retreat to when she feels overwhelmed. Jackson also introduces a behavior modification technique called clicker training, which helps Lita associate positive behavior with treats and praise.

Ultimately, both families see significant improvements in their cats' behavior. The first family's Siamese, Kitty, learns to adjust to her new living situation and stops being aggressive towards her owner's boyfriend. The second family's cat, Lita, stops urinating outside of her litter boxes and becomes more relaxed and confident in her environment.

Throughout the episode, Jackson emphasizes the importance of understanding a cat's behavior, identifying the root cause of any issues, and implementing positive reinforcement techniques to modify their behavior.
