Ep 1. Princess Twilight (Part 1)

As the fourth season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic begins, Twilight Sparkle is no longer just a student of Princess Celestia, she is a princess herself, having grown immensely in her magical abilities and understanding of friendship.

But the spell comes with a huge risk; it requires her to give up her most treasured possession. Twilight is certain the sacrifice will be worth it, but her friends are skeptical.

As Twilight grapples with her decision, she faces a new challenge: the return of the villainous unicorn, Tirek. With a hulking form and a sinister smile, Tirek is power-hungry and ruthless, and he has come to Equestria with a dark purpose. He reveals himself to be behind the magical imbalance that is plaguing the land, and offers Twilight an ultimatum: give him the magic he seeks, or watch her friends suffer.

Twilight is horrified at the prospect of betraying her friends, but she begins to wonder if Tirek's power might be the key to saving Equestria from destruction. She is torn between her sense of duty and her loyalty to those she loves.
