Mysteries at the Museum is a television show that features intriguing, strange and unusual stories from the past; narrated by Don Wildman. They tell us about the things that have been hidden in plain sight for years but drew little or no attention. In season 11 episode 17 of the show named Arrow Stork, Terror in the Sky, Feuding Astors, we get introduced to three intriguing stories.

The first story, Arrow Stork, begins with an incident that happened in 1916 during World War 1. An American soldier was injured during a battle and was sent to a French hospital to recover. His condition was critical, and it seemed unlikely that he would make it. However, a stork appeared at his window carrying an arrow in its beak. The arrow had a message that read "I am a French stork, caught on a German arrow. Please help me." The message and the stork that carried it played a significant role in the soldier's recovery, as well as the war effort in Europe. This story tells us how little, seemingly ordinary birds can inspire great courage and solidarity amongst humans.

The second story, Terror in the Sky, takes us to the heights of our universe and introduces us to a plane crash that happened in 1985. Japan Airlines flight 123, a fully-loaded Boeing 747, crashed into a mountain in Japan, causing the death of 520 passengers and crew. It was one of the deadliest single-aircraft crashes in history. While the cause of the crash was attributed to mechanical issues, it later came to light that there were more sinister forces at play. This story tells us about the unsung heroes that risked their lives to uncover the truth about the crash and prevent further disasters.

The third story, Feuding Astors, tells us about two American billionaires, Vincent Astor and John Jacob Astor IV, who were cousins that despised each other. They were wealthy beyond imagination, but their wealth couldn't keep them from waging war on each other. Their feud stretched over the years and culminated in a court battle over the estate of a rich aunt. The feud ended in tragedy when the Titanic sank, taking John Jacob Astor IV with it. This story tells us about the dangers of letting wealth blind us to what really matters in life.

Overall, mysteries at the museum's season 11 episode 17, Arrow Stork, Terror in the Sky, Feuding Astors, is a thought-provoking and fascinating episode that takes viewers on a journey through some of history's most unusual and mystifying events. The show's narration, combined with detailed re-enactments and expert insight, makes the stories come alive in a captivating and engaging way.
