Ned's Newt is an animated television series that aired on FOX from 1997 to 1999. The show is about a young boy named Ned who lives with his family in the fictional town of Newtonsburg. One day, Ned visits a laboratory and purchases a newt as a pet. However, he soon discovers that the newt can talk and has superpowers.

Peter Keleghan voices the character of Ned, a kind-hearted and occasionally naive boy who is always eager to help others. He is the owner of the newt and often finds himself struggling to keep his pet's powers under control.

Tracey Moore voices the newt, who goes by the name of Newton. Newton is a mischievous and sarcastic creature who enjoys teasing and pranking his owner. He possesses a wide range of powers, including the ability to fly, shape-shift, and control time.

Carolyn Scott voices Ned's best friend, Linda. Linda is a smart and confident girl who often helps Ned with his adventures. She is always eager to use her scientific knowledge to solve problems and has a crush on Ned.

Harland Williams voices Cornelius, the school bully. Cornelius frequently torments Ned and Linda, but always ends up getting his comeuppance in the end. He is often the target of Newton's pranks.

Colin O'Meara and Ron Pardo voice Ned's parents, Ed and Flo. Ed is a bumbling and absent-minded father who works as a newspaper deliveryman. Flo is a sensible and caring mother who tries her best to keep the family together.

Each episode of the show features Ned and Newton getting into various misadventures, often with the help of Linda. They encounter a variety of characters, including monsters, aliens, and mad scientists.

The show's animation style is colorful and cartoony, with exaggerated character designs and wacky sound effects. The humor is primarily aimed at a younger audience, with lots of slapstick comedy and silly gags.

Overall, Ned's Newt is an entertaining and lighthearted show that is perfect for kids who love cartoons. It combines science fiction elements with comedy to create a fun and enjoyable viewing experience. Though it only lasted for two seasons, it has become a beloved cult classic among fans of '90s animation.

Ned's Newt is a series that is currently running and has 3 seasons (52 episodes). The series first aired on February 7, 1998.
