Ep 2. Kryptonite

Jess Day is a schoolteacher who moves into an apartment with three single men after her breakup with her longtime boyfriend. In season 1 episode 2, titled "Kryptonite," Jess is still adjusting to her new living situation and the personalities of her roommates.

After Jess accidentally walks in on Nick as he is getting out of the shower, she feels awkward and tries to make it up to him by taking him out for a drink. While at the bar, they run into Nick's ex-girlfriend Caroline, who left him devastated and heartbroken. When her roommates tease her about it, she tries to prove them wrong by leaving the lights off for the entire night. Things take a turn for the worse when she hears a strange noise in the apartment and becomes convinced that there is someone else in the apartment with them.

Overall, "Kryptonite" is a hilarious episode that showcases the personalities and quirks of each of the characters. Viewers will root for Jess as she navigates her new life and try to get over her fear of the dark.
