Off Limits is an American television series that takes its viewers to some of the most restricted and dangerous places on the planet. The show's host, Don Wildman, invites us to join him as he uncovers the secrets of secret military installations, abandoned buildings, and other places that are typically off-limits to the public. In season 2 episode 9 of the show, Don takes us on a wild ride as he explores the world of bobsled racing and takes us behind the scenes in Las Vegas.

In the first part of the episode, Don takes us to Utah Olympic Park, which is located in Park City, Utah. Utah Olympic Park was built for the 2002 Winter Olympics and is now the training center for the United States Olympic bobsled and skeleton teams. Don starts his stay at the Park by experiencing the thrill of bobsled racing. He gets to ride in a real bobsled driven by an experienced pilot, and the experience is both exhilarating and terrifying. Don is clearly thrilled by the experience, and he notes that the ride takes about 40 seconds, during which time the sled hits speeds of over 80 miles per hour.

After his bobsled ride, Don takes us behind the scenes at Utah Olympic Park, where he meets the athletes who train there. He talks to some of the pilots and brakemen and finds out what it takes to be a competitive bobsledder. He also gets to see the sleds up close and learns about the intricate design and construction of these vehicles. Don is impressed by the amount of technology that goes into every sled, and he notes that even a small deviation from the perfect design can make a huge difference in performance on the track.

The second part of the episode takes us to Las Vegas, Nevada, where Don explores the world of backstage entertainment. He starts by visiting a company called Cirque du Soleil, which is famous for its acrobatic shows that defy gravity and push the limits of human performance. Don gets to see some of the training sessions for the performers and talks to some of the costume designers and makeup artists who create the stunning visual effects that make Cirque du Soleil shows so memorable.

Don also takes us to a company called Scéno Plus, which designs and builds the stages for many of the biggest shows in Las Vegas. He gets to see some of the plans and models for upcoming shows and learns about the engineering and design challenges that go into creating these spectacular productions. Don is amazed by the scale of these productions, and he notes that some of the stages are big enough to fit several football fields inside them.

Overall, Off Limits season 2 episode 9 is a thrilling and eye-opening look at two very different worlds. Don Wildman takes us on a wild ride as he explores the world of bobsled racing and takes us behind the scenes in Las Vegas. The episode is full of fascinating interviews and insights, and it's clear that Don has a deep appreciation for the people who work in these industries. Whether you're a fan of extreme sports or backstage entertainment, Off Limits is a show that's well worth watching.
