Okamisan is a romantic comedy anime series that centers around the exploits of a young girl named Ryoko Okami and her friends. The show is produced by J.C.Staff and is available in North America through the distributor FUNimation. The series is set in a high school where a group of students, who call themselves the Otogi Bank, provide various services to their classmates in exchange for favors in the future. The members of the Otogi Bank are all unique characters with their own idiosyncrasies and quirks.

The main character, Ryoko Okami, is a strong and independent girl who is feared by others due to her reputation as a delinquent. However, she is actually a kind-hearted individual who is always willing to help others. Her best friend and fellow member of the Otogi Bank, Ringo Akai, is a shy and timid girl who has a crush on the school's resident playboy, Ryoshi Morino.

The series follows the lives of Ryoko, Ringo, and their friends as they take on various tasks for their classmates. Along the way, they encounter a wide range of interesting and quirky characters, including the otaku Ryoshi Morino, the mysterious Otohime Ryuugu, and the sadistic Alice Kiriki.

The episodes of Okamisan are structured like fables, with each episode focusing on a particular theme and featuring a moral lesson at the end. The show uses a unique visual style, with characters drawn in a chibi-like manner during comedic moments and with more detailed designs during serious moments.

Kanae Ito voices the character Ryoko Okami, and her performance captures both the tough and vulnerable sides of the character. Monica Rial provides the voice of Ryoko's best friend Ringo Akai, and she imbues the character with a sweet and innocent personality.

Miyu Irino voices Ryoshi Morino, the school's resident playboy, and his performance adds a lighthearted and comedic tone to the show. Joel McDonald voices the character Sosuke Inukawa, a dog-like humanoid who is a member of the Otogi Bank. McDonald's performance perfectly captures the character's loyal and protective nature.

Shizuka Ito provides the voice for the mysterious Otohime Ryuugu, and her performance gives the character a regal and otherworldly quality. Brina Palencia voices Alice Kiriki, a sadistic and manipulative member of the Otogi Bank, and her performance creates a scheming and devious personality for the character.

Aki Toyosaki voices the character Majolica le Fay, a witch who is the school's librarian. Her magical abilities add a fantastical element to the show. Caitlin Glass voices Liszt Kiriki, Alice's older brother and the President of the Otogi Bank. Her performance gives the character a calm and collected demeanor.

Ayako Kawasumi voices the character Narrator, who provides exposition and commentary throughout the show. Her performance adds a whimsical and fairytale-like quality to the series.

Colleen Clinkenbeard directs the English dub of Okamisan and brings her experience as a voice actress to the table. The English dub is well-done and captures the comedic and dramatic moments of the series.

Overall, Okamisan is a unique and entertaining anime series that combines elements of romance, comedy, and fable. The characters are well-developed, the performances are top-notch, and the animation is visually stunning. Fans of romantic comedies and fantastical tales will enjoy this show.
