Ep 3. Siege Perilous

In Once Upon a Time season 5 episode 3, titled "Siege Perilous," King Arthur requests some assistance from Emma and Regina. The two major characters decide to head to Camelot to help King Arthur, along with the rest of the Dark One gang. In this episode, new plans are made and new alliances are formed. Meanwhile, back in Storybrooke, Merida discovers that Emma has a harder time being a hero than she anticipated. Merida is angry with Emma for asking her to help without realizing what it means to be a hero. While Emma is facing these challenges, Hook is working on gaining the trust of Emma's family. He agrees to help Henry find a way to prove to Emma that he can be trusted and wants to help her fight against the darkness.

As Emma and Regina arrive in Camelot, King Arthur asks them to recover the legendary and magical weapon known as the "Siege Perilous." In order to find it, Emma and Regina, disguised as medieval handmaids, get close to King Arthur and his followers. This is no easy task since Arthur and the knights know nothing about the Storybrooke characters.

Back in Storybrooke, Merida confronts Emma about her actions. She tells Emma that being a hero is not just a title, but something that requires strength, sacrifice, and selflessness. Emma tries to explain but Merida is not easily convinced.

Hook finds Henry and together they try to find a way to prove his allegiance to Emma and the rest of the gang. Henry suggests that he and Hook look at the library's archives to find a way to help Emma. As they search, a mysterious and terrifying figure lurks around Storybrooke, sending chills down the spine of all the townsfolk.

Regina and Emma finally locate the Siege Perilous, only to find out that it was hidden within Camelot's round table. King Arthur shows great interest in the sword, but it is revealed that only a knight who is pure of heart can release it from its binding. David volunteers for the job, risking everything to prove his worthiness. David's journey is full of twists and turns, as he seeks to release the powerful but dangerous sword.

After David sets on his quest, things get tense in Camelot. Emma is betrayed by one of Arthur's confidants, making it even harder to trust anyone. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke, Hook and Henry discover the truth about the mysterious figure that has everyone on edge.

As David continues on his mission, he struggles to keep his wits about him. His determination is tested, and he must come face to face with a threat that he never imagined. The future of Camelot is on the line, and the stakes have never been higher for Emma and the rest of the Storybrooke characters.
