Ep 1. Work That Body For Me

After an intense season 3 finale, Orange is the New Black kicks off its fourth season with "Work That Body For Me." The episode wastes no time getting back into the thick of things and we're immediately transported back to Litchfield Penitentiary, where things are just as bleak as we remember.

Piper's business aspirations have led her down a dangerous path, as she and her girlfriends continue their affirmation-based panty selling scheme under the protection of Dom, played by Blair Brown. But when the other inmates discover their racket, Piper's former popularity within the prison is put to the test.

Meanwhile, tensions rise between the dorms as new inmates flood into an already overcrowded Litchfield. Among the fresh faces is Judy King, a highly publicized celebrity chef and the object of Caputo's admiration. Her arrival brings a new kind of stress to the facility, as inmates become fixated on getting close to someone who has been thrust into the spotlight.

Alex and Lolly's tenuous friendship reaches a boiling point as Alex is haunted by memories of her past and the decision she made in the finale of last season. Meanwhile, Lolly's guilt is consuming her, and she struggles to find a way to atone for her actions.

Suzanne, aka Crazy Eyes, continues to be the heart and soul of the show as she tries to find a new path without her best friend Poussey by her side. She meets a new inmate, Maureen, and tries to befriend her, but the relationship takes a dark turn.

The episode also explores the power struggle between the inmates and the guards, highlighting the conditions that make the detainees feel just as trapped as the prisoners.
