Ep 11. Onii-chama Is A Prince

This episode of Ouran High School Host Club is called "Onii-chama Is A Prince." The episode centers around Haruhi, the main character, and her dealings with the host club's eldest member, Tamaki.

The hosts are all too happy to play along, enjoying the momentary change in their routine and reveling in the chance to put on a grand show for Haruhi's father.

Throughout the episode, Tamaki goes to great lengths to impress Haruhi's father, going so far as to dress in the most elaborate and expensive clothing and pretending to be an accomplished pianist. At one point, he even stages a fake kidnapping in order to prove his worthiness to protect Haruhi.

Meanwhile, Haruhi is left feeling conflicted. She appreciates Tamaki's efforts to help her but is uncomfortable with the idea of lying to her father. She also can't help but be reminded of her own lack of wealth and status in comparison to those around her.

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that Tamaki's efforts to impress Haruhi's father are also motivated by his feelings for Haruhi. He sees himself as her protector and wants to win her affection by proving that he can take care of her.

The tension comes to a head when Haruhi's father finally realizes that the hosts are not actually her brothers. Tamaki is devastated by the realization that he has been pretending all along, but Haruhi's father surprises everyone by being more amused than angry. He admits that he was actually relieved to learn that Haruhi was in the care of such kind and considerate young men.

The episode ends with Tamaki and Haruhi sharing a tender moment, with Tamaki admitting that he doesn't care whether he is her brother or her prince–he just wants to be there for her. Haruhi, for her part, realizes that despite their differences in status and background, she genuinely cares for Tamaki and the other hosts.
