Outrageous Kid Parties was a reality television series that aired on TLC from 2011 to 2012. The show followed event planners Kelli Mackenzie and Dan Bowen as they helped parents plan over-the-top and extravagant birthday parties for their children. Each episode of Outrageous Kid Parties focused on a different family and their unique party theme. From a carnival-themed party complete with a Ferris wheel and circus performers to a mermaid-themed party with a live dolphin show, Mackenzie and Bowen spared no expense in making sure the children had the party of their dreams.

The show not only highlighted the elaborate decorations and activities, but also the stress and pressure that came with planning such extravagant events. Mackenzie and Bowen had to navigate difficult parents, tight deadlines, and unexpected obstacles in order to pull off these incredible parties.

Throughout the show, viewers also got to see the emotional reactions of the children as they realized their wildest birthday party dreams were coming true. From tears of joy to enthusiastic thank yous, the children's reactions were priceless and heartwarming.

In addition to the main event planners, Outrageous Kid Parties also featured various vendors and professionals who contributed to the parties. From pastry chefs to costume designers to acrobats, the show offered a glimpse into the world of event planning and the hardworking individuals who make these parties possible.

Outrageous Kid Parties was not without controversy, however. Many critics criticized the show for promoting excess and materialism, and for perpetuating the idea that children need expensive and over-the-top parties in order to have a good time. Others argued that the show was harmful to the environment, as many of the parties featured wasteful decorations and excessive use of resources.

Despite these criticisms, Outrageous Kid Parties was a popular show that captured the interest of viewers. The series ran for two seasons and featured a total of 12 episodes.

Overall, Outrageous Kid Parties was a glimpse into the extreme world of party planning for children. While it may not have been for everyone, it offered a unique perspective into the lengths parents and planners will go to in order to make their child's birthday a memorable one.
