Ep 7. Seven Names

In Parenthood season 2 episode 7, entitled "Seven Names," we see the Braverman family facing a variety of challenges and struggles, as usual. The episode covers a lot of ground, both thematically and in terms of plot, with each member of the family having their own storyline.

One of the key plotlines revolves around Haddie, who is struggling with her feelings for her ex-boyfriend Steve. Despite her parents' objections, Haddie starts to hang out with Steve again, leading to some tense and emotional scenes between her and her mother, Adam. We also see Haddie navigating her relationship with her boyfriend, Alex, which is complicated by the fact that he is struggling with addiction.

Meanwhile, Julia and Joel are dealing with some major changes in their lives, as they decide to adopt a baby. At the same time, Julia is facing some challenges at work, as her boss continues to pile on the projects and pressure, leading her to question whether she can really have it all.

Sarah is also facing some uncertainty in her personal and professional life, as she struggles to find a stable job and make ends meet. She takes on a new job at an art gallery, but quickly realizes that it may not be the right fit for her. Meanwhile, she continues to navigate her relationship with Mark, who is dealing with some personal issues that may affect their future together.

Finally, we see Crosby struggling with his responsibilities as a father, as Jabbar starts to act out and push boundaries. He tries to connect with his son by taking him to a basketball game, but ends up having a difficult conversation with Jasmine about their differing parenting styles.

As always, Parenthood manages to balance humor and heartbreak, with the show's talented cast bringing their A-game to every scene. "Seven Names" is a strong episode that tackles some big issues and provides some powerful moments for each of the Braverman family members. Fans of the show will not be disappointed.
