The TV show Parenthood is a warm family drama with a focus on the Braverman family who live in California. The show explores issues such as sibling rivalries, parenting, love, and the ups and downs of extended familial relations. The show's third season, episode 15, 'Politics,' features various members of the Braverman clan trying to navigate politics in different ways.

The episode begins with Adam Braverman (played by Peter Krause) and his wife Kristina (played by Monica Potter) entering into the world of politics as they meet with a city councilman. Adam is looking to build a new school and approaches the councilman for his help with the project. However, the meeting doesn't go as expected as they soon realize they need to gain support from others in the community. This leads to Adam and Kristina throwing a fundraiser event in an effort to win support from potential investors. Meanwhile, their teenage daughter Haddie (played by Sarah Ramos) is dealing with the politics of high school as she considers running for student council president.

At the same time, Julia Braverman-Graham (played by Erika Christensen) faces her own challenges as she continues her journey to adopt a baby. She is paired with Zoe (played by Rosa Salazar), a birth mother who is also considering other adoption options. Julia must navigate her own emotions and the politics of matching with a suitable birth mother while Zoe is faced with tough decisions of her own.

Elsewhere in the Braverman family, Crosby (played by Dax Shepard), who is now a father, continues to struggle to reconcile with his own father. Meanwhile, his niece Amber (played by Mae Whitman) is dealing with the politics of romance and trying to make things work with her boyfriend Ryan (played by Matt Lauria).

The episode ends with the Bravermans coming together for Adam and Kristina's fundraiser, with all their family members making contributions and helping to ensure its success. Haddie also gets the much-needed support of her friends and family as she decides to run for student council president.

This episode showcases the theme of politics in different forms, whether it be in the world of education, adoption, high school, family dynamics, or romance. The Braverman family, as a unit, continues to navigate their lives with the support and love of one another, showing the importance of family in trying times.
