Get Ready for Paul Rudd to Star on 'Parks and Recreation'

Get Ready for Paul Rudd to Star on 'Parks and Recreation' Over the past season (not to mention the other few years the show has been on the air), "Parks & Recreation" has proven itself to be a show that deftly steps between truly heartwarming and devastatingly funny, stopping only to get really sad for a while so it's that much better when something adorable happens. Yeah, it's that good.

So there's no possible way that "Parks and Recreation" could get any better, is there? Wait: what if Paul Rudd were to join the cast?

Well, according to Vulture, that's exactly what's going to happen. Rudd is rumored to have shot at least one episode of the NBC comedy series, and should appear for a short arc (or possibly a longer one) later this season. While the details haven't been announced (nor has Rudd's guest spot been confirmed yet), it's entirely possible that he might play Leslie's (Amy Poehler) competition in the city council election.

This adds to an already heavy year for Rudd in terms of exposure: he is also starring in "Wanderlust" with Jennifer Aniston (you can watch the trailer here), as well as in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" with Emma Watson and Nina Dobrev and in "This is 40," the newest project from Judd Apatow.
