Ep 5. A Mid-Semester's Night Dream

When Daphne is ordered to bed for the last eight weeks of her pregnancy, Kirsten suggests giving her a baby shower to cheer her up. And when Will returns unexpectedly from college claiming he's avoiding an obsessed classmate, Julia warns Ned that nothing can happen between them. But, when it becomes clear that she has a secret admirer, Julia tracks down Ned and insists that they can never have a relationship. Meanwhile, Jamie arrives unannounced to see Claudia at school. As Bailey and Sarah worry about Will's unsettling behavior, Claudia realizes that she's no longer in love with Jamie. And as Charlie goes out of his way to make her comfortable, Daphne worries that she's the one who brought on her having to stay in bed. So, Charlie decides that he'll stay there with her, no matter how long it takes. Meanwhile, after agreeing to go to a Halloween party together, Julia and Maggie also decide to wear the same costume. When Ned mistakenly approaches Maggie at the party, only some quick thinking by Julia keeps her roommate from learning the truth about his feelings. But, when Maggie encourages her to live a little, Julia reconsiders Ned's offer. Meanwhile, when Jamie accuses her of having another boyfriend, Claudia admits that it's school she's fallen for. Finally, as Charlie and Daphne use the time in bed together to reconnect, Sarah and Bailey discover that Will is running away from a pregnant girlfriend.
