As the sixteenth season of the hit show Pawn Stars comes to a close, the latest episode, titled "Pink Trains and Open Flames" offers up a range of intriguing items for the team to consider.

One of the standout pieces brought into the shop is a pink Lionel train set. Hailing from the 1950s, it's not just the color that makes this set unique. With an incredible attention to detail, the locomotive and passenger cars feature intricate designs and decorations that make them stand out from other sets of the era. But as always, the team at the pawnshop needs to determine its value before they can put it up for sale. Will the owner of the train set have a reason to celebrate, or will they leave disappointed?

Adding some heat to the episode, another customer brings in a vintage flamethrower. It's a fascinating piece of military history, but Chumlee and the others need to know more about its usage and history before determining its value. As they dig deeper, the team discover that it was used in the Pacific during World War II, complete with initial fears that it would be used for sinister purposes against civilians. Will this unusual item make the cut and find a buyer?

Meanwhile, another customer brings in a prototype electromechanical slot machine. Believed to date back to the 1970s, it's unique in the sense that it features built-in electronics which signal when a player has lost or won. The team takes great interest in the novelty of this machine, marveling at the innovation that went into its creation. But as always, they will need to determine a fair price to sell it at.

The diverse range of items on display this episode makes for some engaging moments, as the team attempts to discover the backgrounds and values of these unique objects.

For those who are fans of the show, there are also a few notable moments that make this episode worth watching. For one, Chumlee accidentally drops his phone into an aquarium, leading to some hilarious hijinks as he tries to recover it. Meanwhile, the Rick Harrison’s employees Corey and Olivia engage in a friendly bet over a Nerf gun, which also winds up providing some comic relief.

As an added treat for longtime fans of the show, there are also some fun flashback clips from previous episodes woven throughout the episode. Viewers will have the chance to relive some of the best moments from past seasons, as well as catch up with some of their favorite staff members.

Overall, "Pink Trains and Open Flames" is a strong outing for the series. The diverse range of items on display, alongside the usual charismatic antics from the team, makes for an engaging watch. Whether you're a newcomer or a dedicated fan of the show, this episode is well worth tuning in for.
