Ep 1. Knock, Knock, Who's There?

Balki Bartokomous arrives in Chicago from his home country, Mypos, to live with his distant cousin, Larry Appleton. Upon arriving in Larry's apartment, Balki begins to experience culture shock as he tries to adjust to life in America. Larry, a struggling photojournalist, attempts to show him the ropes of living in the big city, but Balki's naivety leads to misunderstandings and comical mishaps. As they settle into their new living arrangements, they are interrupted by a persistent knocking at the door. Uncertain who could be on the other side, they nervously answer to find a somewhat unwelcome visitor waiting for them. This marks the start of a series of misadventures that the cousins encounter in their attempts to make their relationship work.
