Ep 29. Familiarity Breeds Strategy!

Ash and his friends are continuing their journey towards the Lily of the Valley Island, where Ash hopes to win his eighth gym badge. The gang happens upon a forest where they encounter an injured Yanma. They quickly rush to Yanma's side, and Ash is able to heal it with the help of his Pokédex. Yanma becomes attached to Ash and begins to follow him and his friends as they continue their journey.

Meanwhile, Jessie and James, Team Rocket's usual troublemakers, are plotting their next scheme. Jessie comes up with the idea to capture a Yanma and use it to defeat Ash's Pokémon. She sees Yanma as the perfect opportunity to finally defeat Ash and steal his Pikachu.

Later, Ash and his friends come across a research lab where a scientist is studying the local Yanma population. The scientist explains to the gang that Yanma are known for their incredible speed and agility, which makes them difficult to catch. Ash and his friends decide to help the scientist, and they begin to assist him in his research.

As they work with the Yanma, Ash and his friends become more familiar with their behavior and movements. They soon realize that Yanma tend to follow each other in a line, and that they are very predictable in their movements. The gang starts to develop a strategy on how they could capture Yanma without harming them.

Jessie and James see an opportunity to strike when they witness Ash and his friends working with the Yanma. They come up with a plan to capture a Yanma for themselves, but their attempt fails as they are no match for Ash's quick thinking and battle tactics.

With their plan foiled, Jessie and James retreat, and Ash and his friends continue on their journey. Ash is grateful for the experience as he gained valuable knowledge on how to work with Pokémon and come up with strategies to succeed in battles.
