Pound Puppies is a children's animated television series that originally aired on The Hub from 2010 to 2013. The show is a reboot of the original Pound Puppies series from the 1980s and follows the adventures of a group of talking dogs who work together to find loving homes for other dogs in need.

The main characters of the show are a group of dogs who reside in the Shelter 17 Pound. The leader of the pack is Lucky, a scrappy but lovable mutt who is constantly coming up with new schemes to find homes for the dogs in the pound. Lucky is voiced by well-known actor Eric McCormack, who is perhaps best known for his role as Will on the sitcom Will & Grace.

Other members of the Pound Puppies team include Niblet, a cheerful and energetic Boston terrier who loves to eat; Cookie, a stylish and sassy poodle who is always up for a challenge; and Squirt, a smart and resourceful Chihuahua who often comes up with the team's best plans. These characters are all voiced by talented actors such as John DiMaggio and Michael Rapaport.

Throughout the course of the show, the Pound Puppies team works tirelessly to match each of the dogs in their care with a loving family. They go to great lengths to make sure that each dog is paired up with the perfect owner, even if it means taking risks and breaking rules along the way. Along the way, they encounter all sorts of challenges, including rivalries with other dog rescue organizations, run-ins with the dog catcher, and tough decisions about which dogs to prioritize.

One of the things that makes Pound Puppies such a beloved show for kids is the way that it teaches important life lessons about friendship, responsibility, and perseverance. Each episode of the show is full of fun and adventure, but there is always a message lurking beneath the surface about how to be a good friend, how to handle difficult situations, and how to never give up on your dreams.

Another thing that sets Pound Puppies apart from other animated shows is its high-quality animation and voice acting. The show's characters are all incredibly colorful, with each dog having a distinctive personality that shines through in both their appearance and their dialogue. The voice acting is also top notch, featuring well-known actors who bring a lot of personality and humor to their roles.

Overall, Pound Puppies is a heartwarming and entertaining show that is perfect for kids of all ages. It's packed with action, adventure, and important life lessons that can help kids grow into responsible, compassionate adults. If you're looking for a fun and educational show to watch with your children, Pound Puppies is definitely worth checking out.
