Ep 2. Lead Us Not Into Temptation

Preachers' Daughters season 1 episode 2, "Lead Us Not Into Temptation," follows three different storylines involving the teenage daughters of religious leaders.

In the first storyline, Taylor, the daughter of a pastor, is struggling to maintain her purity vow and resist the temptation of her boyfriend who wants to take their physical relationship to the next level. Taylor is torn between her desire to please her parents and her own desires, and she seeks advice from her sister who has gone through similar struggles in the past.

In the second storyline, Kolby, the daughter of a pastor who also happens to be a former rock star, is preparing for her band's first performance. However, she faces criticism from her religious community for her musical tastes and attire. Kolby is determined to follow her dreams and not let the opinions of others hold her back.

In the third storyline, Olivia, the daughter of a pastor who also happens to be a former professional wrestler, is dealing with the aftermath of a party gone wrong. She and her friends were caught drinking and Olivia is terrified of what her father will do when he finds out. Her friends advise her to lie and cover up the truth, but Olivia struggles with this moral dilemma.

Throughout the episode, the girls navigate the challenges of being teenagers while also living under the watchful eye of their religious parents and communities. Each girl faces temptation and must make difficult decisions based on their own beliefs and values.

"Lead Us Not Into Temptation" explores themes of teenage rebellion, peer pressure, and the struggle to balance personal desires with religious expectations. It highlights the complexity of growing up in a religious household and the challenges of staying true to oneself while also respecting authority figures.
