The first story, Mars Canal, follows a struggling painter who becomes embroiled in a bizarre and surreal murder mystery when he rents a room in a decaying apartment building filled with eccentric and dangerous residents. The second story, Mirror Hell, follows a detective who investigates a string of gruesome murders that all seems to be connected to a mysterious and otherworldly mirror.

The third story, Caterpillar, tells the story of a war veteran who returns home from the front lines a shell of his former self, with no limbs, facial features or even the ability to speak. His wife takes care of him but harbors deep-seated resentment towards her husband, leading to a twisted and haunting tale of obsession and revenge. The final story, Crawling Bugs, follows a writer who becomes fascinated by a strange and mysterious woman he sees on the street, leading him down a sinister path towards obsession and ultimately, madness.

Each one of these stories is shot in a visually stunning and highly stylized manner, with dark and moody color palettes, striking cinematography, and imaginative set design. Each tale is also filled with unexpected twists and turns, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats and forcing them to confront the darker aspects of human nature.
