Ep 8. Maybe We Can Get A Dog Instead?

Bridget is still reeling from the revelation that Siobhan is alive and the two of them are in a mess after they kill Gemma. Meanwhile, Andrew and Bridget are trying to adopt a dog to help Bridget cope with her stress. Andrew also asks Bridget about her feelings towards children and whether or not she wants them, but she evades the conversation.

Back at the loft, Bridget starts receiving strange text messages from a mysterious number. When she replies, the person on the other end claims to be Siobhan. Bridget demands to meet her, but Siobhan refuses and says she needs her help. Bridget, believing that Siobhan is in danger, goes to visit her therapist, and reveals to him that Siobhan is still alive, and that she is trying to contact her. The therapist tells Bridget that she needs to tell Andrew the truth, but Bridget knows that Andrew would never understand.

Later, Bridget and Andrew head to the animal shelter to adopt a dog. While there, Bridget receives another mysterious text from Siobhan. This one contains an address. Andrew heads back to the city, but Bridget decides to check out the address that Siobhan sent. When she arrives, she finds Siobhan and Henry there. Siobhan tells Bridget that she needs her to pose as her, because she committed a crime in Switzerland and needs to leave the country. Bridget refuses, but when she receives a threatening message in the middle of the night, she knows she needs to do whatever it takes to protect herself and those around her.

Meanwhile, Andrew is dealing with his own problems. When Juliet decides to go back to school, she enlists the help of her teacher, Mr. Carpenter. Andrew confronts Mr. Carpenter, believing that he is taking advantage of Juliet. At the same time, Andrew is having trouble getting a loan for his company, Martin-Charles. He turns to Olivia for help, but ends up sleeping with her.

The episode ends with Bridget sitting in Siobhan's place, getting her hair and nails done, preparing to pose as her sister. She doesn't know where she's going, but she knows that this is her only chance to help her sister and keep herself safe.
