Hank Lawson enjoys the fast-paced, high-profile world of the ER. However, when he is wrongfully blamed for a patient's death, he is sacked by the hospital and blacklisted from the medical community. Desperate for work, he agrees to accompany his younger brother, Evan, to a party in the Hamptons. While there, he tends to a guest who is experiencing a medical emergency and is hired by the man's wealthy employer to be his personal physician.
