Ep 4. Shade: The Rusical

In RuPaul's Drag Race season 6 episode 4, titled "Shade: The Rusical", the queens are challenged to use their vocals in a musical extravaganza. The contestants must perform in a Broadway-themed musical in which they will act, sing, and dance to impress the judges.

The celebrities who will be judging the queens are former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert, Broadway star and Dancing with the Stars winner Kristin Chenoweth, and television host and producer Perez Hilton.

Before the main challenge, the contestants are faced with a mini-challenge that requires them to create their own shade names and perform a skit to demonstrate their new personalities.

Later, the queens must learn their lines and choreography for the musical production, which includes group numbers and solo performances. The contestants must prove they have both acting and singing chops, as well as the ability to work as a team.

As the performances unfold, the judges will critique and evaluate the queens on their vocals, acting skills, choreography, and overall interpretation of the musical.

At the runway, the contestants must present their best interpretations of "curtains." This runway theme is a nod to the Broadway production theme, and the queens will need to pull out all stops to impress both the judges and RuPaul.

As usual, RuPaul will eliminate one of the queens at the end of the episode, based on their performance in the musical and on the runway.
