RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7 Episode 12

Ep 12. And the Rest Is Drag

  • May 18, 2015

And the Rest Is Drag is the twelfth episode of RuPaul's Drag Race season 7. In this episode, the remaining contestants are challenged to write and perform their own verses for RuPaul's latest single, "Born Naked." They are also tasked with creating their own outfits for the runway, using unconventional materials chosen by RuPaul herself.

Tensions are high as the queens struggle to come up with lyrics and choreography for their verses. Some excel, such as Ginger Minj, who impresses the judges with her catchy lyrics and confident performance. Others struggle, such as Kennedy Davenport, who struggles to keep up with the rest of the girls during the choreography rehearsal.

On the runway, the queens showcase their unconventional material outfits. Some are stunning, such as Violet Chachki's incredible creation made entirely out of neckties. Others fall short, such as Pearl's outfit made from scrunched-up aluminum foil.

The judges critique the queens' performances and outfits, and tensions rise once again when the bottom two queens are announced. Kennedy Davenport and Ginger Minj find themselves in the bottom two and must lip-sync for their lives, performing a rendition of Whitney Houston's "I'm Your Baby Tonight."

In the end, RuPaul makes the difficult decision to send one queen home, leaving only four remaining contestants in the race for the crown.

Overall, And the Rest Is Drag is a thrilling episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, filled with fierce competition, creative challenges, and high-stakes drama. Fans of the show won't want to miss a single moment of this exciting installment in the series.
