Ep 6. Moms on the Verge

In season 1, episode 6 of RuPaul's Drag U, titled "Moms on the Verge," three stressed-out mothers are given the chance to embrace their inner drag queen and gain a much-needed confidence boost. Under the tutelage of drag professors Lady Bunny, Ongina, and Jujubee, the moms are put through a series of challenges designed to bring out their bolder, more daring sides.

The first challenge of the day involves creating a signature walk. Lady Bunny helps the moms tap into their inner divas, teaching them how to strut their stuff with confidence and poise. Next up, the moms are tasked with creating a dramatic entrance for themselves. Ongina encourages them to go big and bold, urging them to embrace the transformative power of drag.

For their final challenge, the moms must create a killer lip-sync performance in front of a live audience. Jujubee coaches them on how to channel their emotions and connect with their audience, encouraging them to let their inner selves shine through.

Throughout the episode, viewers witness the immense transformation these women undergo, shedding their insecurities and embracing their newfound self-confidence. From shy and reserved to confident and empowered, these moms on the verge become unrecognizable versions of their former selves.

As always, RuPaul provides plenty of sass and humor throughout the episode, poking fun at the moms and exhorting them to let their freak flags fly.
