In this episode, Usagi is feeling down after her latest fight against the Black Moon Clan, and decides to seek solace in her favorite food: curry. She heads to her mother's restaurant for a bowl of her special curry, only to find that the restaurant has been taken over by none other than her school rival, Naru Osaka.

Naru has decided to take over the restaurant in order to help her family's failing business, and has come up with a plan to promote the restaurant by hosting a Curry Showdown, which will pit her mother's curry against Usagi's mother's curry. Although Usagi is initially hesitant to participate, she agrees to take part in the competition as a way to show Naru that they can work together to save the restaurant.

As the preparations for the Curry Showdown begin, strange things start happening in the city. People are falling into comas after eating a curry dish from a new restaurant in town, and it quickly becomes clear that the Black Moon Clan is behind the chaos.
