In season 1 episode 6 of Sankarea, titled "It's Because I... Ran Into You," we find Chihiro Furuya struggling to balance his new relationship with Rea Sanka and his obsession with bringing his recently deceased pet cat, Babu, back to life. He turns to his grandfather for help, who reveals that he possesses a mysterious potion that may be able to resurrect the feline.

Meanwhile, Rea is still grappling with the after-effects of ingesting the "resurrection potion" herself, which has turned her into a zombie-like creature with a craving for raw meat. She is struggling with her newfound identity and her feelings for Chihiro, as well as her complicated relationship with her abusive father.

As Chihiro becomes increasingly consumed with his quest to bring Babu back to life, he becomes distant from Rea and begins to push her away. Rea, desperate to be close to Chihiro and regain his affection, decides to take matters into her own hands and attempt to heal herself using the potion. However, her actions have unintended consequences and lead to even more turmoil for the couple.

Throughout the episode, we see the characters grappling with themes of love, loss, and the consequences of playing with the natural order of life and death. The tension between Chihiro and Rea continues to build as they both struggle with their own individual demons and attempt to reconcile their differences.

Overall, Sankarea's season 1 episode 6 "It's Because I... Ran Into You" is an emotionally charged episode that delves deeper into the complex relationships between the show's characters and raises important philosophical questions about the nature of life, death, and the desire to control both.
