When UFC fighter Ronda Rousey joined forces with pop star Selena Gomez to co-host Saturday Night Live season 41 episode 11, viewers knew they were in for a wild ride. With Rousey's tough-as-nails exterior and Gomez's adorable charm, the show promised to be a night filled with laughs, shock value, and some seriously impressive physical feats. And it certainly didn't disappoint.

From the opening monologue, where Rousey and Gomez traded off jokes and physical stunts, to the various skits throughout the night, the two hosts proved to be an unlikely but effective duo. One particularly memorable sketch featured Rousey as a tough-talking bouncer at a club, who takes no nonsense from the patrons (played by various SNL cast members). The skit quickly turned into a showcase of Rousey's impressive physicality, as she took down multiple people with ease and even broke through a wall to get to a particularly unruly customer.

Another highlight of the episode was a Digital Short called "Selena Gomez vs. Vanessa Bayer," which pitted Gomez against the SNL cast member in a series of ridiculous challenges. From arm wrestling to playing the recorder, the two went head-to-head in a battle for ultimate bragging rights. The skit was a fun way to showcase Gomez's playful side, while also giving Bayer the chance to flex her comedic muscles.

Of course, not every sketch was a hit. There were a few misses throughout the night, including a bizarre skit where Rousey played a construction worker who is also an amateur poet. While the concept had potential, the execution fell flat and the sketch quickly became forgettable.

Overall, however, Saturday Night Live season 41 episode 11 was a successful outing for both Rousey and Gomez. The two hosts had great chemistry together, and the show offered a nice balance of physical comedy, witty one-liners, and absurdity.
